This past week students learned two new skills and continued to review skills from the first two weeks. Simplifying radicals and changing decimals(both terminating and repeating) into fractions were on the agenda for the week. By request of a couple students who were looking for help changing repeating decimals to fractions, I searched YouTube using "how to change repeating decimals into fractions" and got over 800 videos on the topic. Here is one of the first to pop up - it's good and an example of what the iPad puts in the hands of the students. Extra help and resources are available for free. Encourage/demand that your student(s) look for that extra help when they run into difficulties.
